Case Study: California Women’s Conference 2017
Event Dates: May 10, 2017 – May 11, 2017
Event Location: Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach, California.

Background:
The California Women’s Conference first began in 1985 to help women business owners and to promote available government resources. Governor George Deukmejian helped create the conference to focus on helping women gain access to financial, professional, and personal support. The Governor selected his hometown of Long Beach to host the first conference on September 23-24th, 1985. It gradually grew and in 2010 under the leadership of Maria Shriver reached an attendance of over 30,000 attendees. In 2017, Michelle Patterson led the conference in Long Beach.

EventMeow platform was the mobile app used by the California Women’s Conference. Over 150 exhibitors were showcased in the app. The schedule agenda had over 200 speakers and 100 speaking sessions. EventMeow provided a floor plan map to guide attendees find speaking sessions and locate exhibitors’ booths.

Testimonial:
“The Eventmeow team developed an event app for us in record time that exceeded all expectations with little to no direction from our exec event team. Eventmeow knew what to ask for from us in a way that was efficient for all and handled us as a client who knew nothing about event apps very professionally and patiently! I highly recommend Eventmeow!”
